Obituary of Paul N Costas

Paul N Costas, 94, of Peabody, died peacefully Wednesday evening at the Sutton Hill Center in North Andover. He was the devoted husband of the late Jennie “Janice” (Petropoulos) Costas. Born in Chios, Greece, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Argero (Halepakis) Costas. He was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School. Paul was a lounge manager at the former Daniel Fuller House in Middleton for many years before he retired years ago. He is survived by his two daughters and son-in-law, Barbara Costas Copp of Peabody and Gayle and Stefanos Loisou of Middleton, his sister, Maria Collins of Peabody and was “Papou” to his beloved grandchildren, Jason and Shawna Copp, Gina and her husband Mathew Leeser, and James and his wife Natalie Loisou, and great grandfather to Kali and Nick Copp, Sammy Loisou, and Nia, Stefanos and Athena Leeser. He was predeceased by his brother James Costas. A visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, 5 Paleologos St, Peabody followed by his Funeral Service there at 11:00 AM.
