Obituary of Annette L Bongette

Annette L (Brown) Bongette, 74, of Hamilton, died Friday morning surrounded by her loving family at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Richard A. Bongette. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Bert and Lois (Grantham) Brown. She was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1963. She later attended Essex Agricultural Nursing School and received her LPN Certificate in 1981. Annette was employed as an LPN in the healthcare industry for many years, either in the hospital setting or for home health care in the home. However, her main compassion and life’s dream was owning and running, alongside her husband, Seven Acres Horse Farm in Hamilton as foster parents to many medically challenged children helping them cope with their illnesses. Annette is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Maureen Gauthier of Danvers, Brian and Joanne Gauthier of Peabody, and Roger Thompson of Hamilton, her daughters and sons-in-law, Karen Gauthier and her partner Dennis of Peabody, Kathleen and Eric Erkkila of Peabody, Becky and Carl Peckham of Hamilton, Lindsey Bongette of Hamilton and Amber Gomez of Danvers, her sister, Dianne and her husband Steve Brown of Lynn, and is also survived by her beloved 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Following cremation, visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody followed by Service at 8:00 PM to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
