Obituary of Josephine Corrao

Josephine Antoinette (Pasqualetto) Corrao, 94, of Danvers, the wife of the late Frank Corrao, passed away on Sunday March 22, 2020 with her caring grandchildren by her side. Josephine was born on June 13, 1925 in Medford, daughter of the late Alfred Pasqualetto and Antoinette (Pasqualetto) Stone. She raised her family in Medford prior to retiring in Peabody and Danvers. Josephine, also known as Dolly to those who knew and loved her, was a strong woman who always put her family first. She proudly worked as a supervisor at the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston for several years prior to retirement. She had a passion for life and traveled the world. She loved to cook and entertain, a true Italian foodie known for her meatballs and homemade pies. Most of all, Dolly loved to spend her time spoiling and nurturing her family. The mother and best of friend of the late Diane Azzoto is survived by her other daughter Lillian and Bob Peluso of Surprise AZ, her son Frank and Kelly Corrao of Thorton NH; loving sister to the late Diane (Pasqualetto) Ryan and Frank Stone; beloved Grandma to Michael Ridlon of Lowell MA, Kristen Gerardi and her husband Chris of Bedford NH, and Nicole Lewis and her husband Kevin of Arkansas. Josephine was also survived by her devoted nephews Dan Ryan and Dana Ryan and her cherished great grandchildren, Avery, Olivia, Matthew and Carolyn. A celebration of Dolly’s life will be held at a later date and announced by the family.
