Dear Henry, Paul, Catherine, and Elizabeth,
I was so saddened to learn of Christine's passing. It broke my heart to know that she suffered for so many years with such a dreadful disease.
When I look back on my childhood years, my happiest memories are of the time I spend with you, Catherine and Christine. My mind goes back to the pajama parties at your house on Cliff street where we threw pillows at one another while listening to our favorite music. As Pauline mentioned in her letter to you, Forest River Park filled our summers with friends, park instructors, making flowers for our float, punch ball, monkey bars and tree climbing!
Our high school years, for me, and I hope for Christine were filled with great girlfriends, joy rides around the North Shore, music, parties in our basement on West Circle and just being kids together.
I can still remember cooking in your kitchen, your dog Gretchen and your Mom sitting in the corner chair in the first room to the right as you enter your house.
I realize we all have different memories of the same events. Yours are probably different than mine, but I will always think of the "Duggan Twins" and remember happy times from many years gone by.
My deepest sympathy to all of you.
