Obituary of Sr. Rosina Gallahue, SND
Sister Rosina Gallahue SND, 89, of Ipswich,September 1, 2006.
Sr. Gallahue was born Anna A Gallahue on February 27, 1917 in Boston, daughter of the late Edmond and Rosina (McLaughlin) Gallahue.
She is survived by a sister, Sr. Patricia Gallahue, SND of Windsor, CT., her nieces and nephews, Elaine Schembari, Joan Pavidis, Mary Fasoli, Helen Irvin and Jeffrey and Jack Gallahue, and her family, the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. She was the sister of the late John and Joseph Gallahue.
Sister Gallahue served 66 years of religious life with Ministries in Worcester, Peabody, Beverly Farms, Cambridge, Dorchester and Peaks Island, ME. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Emmanuel College in Boston.
Her Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady Queen Chapel on Tuesday September 5, 2006 at 3:00 PM at the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur Residence, 30 Jeffrey’s Neck Rd., Ipswich to which relatives and friends may attend. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 until 3:00 PM. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Ipswich.
