Obituary of Peter Costagliola

Peter Costagliola, 95, of West Peabody, died Friday evening at the Radius Healthcare Nursing Home, Danvers after a long illness. He was the husband of the late Josephine (Vetro) Costagliola. He was born in South Boston on February 26, 1911, the son of the late Jackino and Antonietta (Dimiceli) Costagliola and resided in East Boston and in Arlington before moving to West Peabody 42 years ago. He was a machinist at the Raytheon Company in Waltham for 40 years prior to his retirement. He was an avid Fisherman and boat enthusiast and enjoyed ocean fishing along the North Shore. He was a devoted family man to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and William Drinan of West Peabody, his six grandchildren, Diane Jodoin of Hampton Falls,NH, Barbara Drozewski of Peabody, Billy Drinan of Falmouth, Ma, Michael Drinan of Lynn, Pam Woodward of CA and Peter Buono of NH, 12 great grandchildren and a great, great grandson and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Annette Buono and the brother of the late Lee Parsons and Frank Costagliola. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 20 Church St., Peabody location. A Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
