Obituary of Patricia A. Monsini

Peabody – Patricia Ann (Carroll) Monsini, 72, beloved wife of Ronald V. Monsini, died Sunday, April 12, 2020 at Salem Hospital after a courageous 3-year battle with cancer. Born in Boston and raised in Jamaica Plain, she was the daughter of the late Gerard and Margaret (Flynn) Carroll. She graduated from Blessed Sacrament High School in Jamaica Plain and attended Boston Business School. Mrs. Monsini had been employed for over twenty years as a claims representative for the Travelers Insurance Company in Danvers until the time of her retirement in 2014. A resident of Peabody for the past forty five years, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. Patricia had many dear friends – including neighbors, former coworkers, and high school classmates – with whom she maintained close relationships and spoke of often. Cooking was a true passion of hers. She took great pride in preparing wonderful feasts for the holidays, milestones, and birthdays. Celebrating life and providing a perfect, memorable setting for our family were always important to her. She forever had a kind, generous heart, selflessly giving and serving others in order to bring joy. In addition to her husband with whom she shared fifty years of marriage, she is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Mason and her husband, Paul of Wilmington, a son, Ronald J. Monsini and his wife, Nazare of Peabody, a daughter, Christine Monsini of Peabody, five grandchildren, Sarah, Olivia, Kevin, Kayla and Patrick, two sisters, Arlene Wall and Susan Barry both of West Roxbury and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Linda King and Gerard Carroll. Her funeral services will be privately held. Arrangements made by the Conway Cahill Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn Street, Peabody.
