Good Afternoon, My sincere condolences regarding the death of your dear Mother, Lorraine. I knew your family a very long time ago when I lived at 79 Morris Street, East Boston. James McGuire was a great friend of my Grandfather, Domenic Cocozza. We lived on the first floor and James lived on the second floor. My Maiden name was Frances Marcotte and now I am Frances Randazzo and I live in Lynn also!!! I'm writing because I have been carrying a picture of James McGuire and my Grandfather, Domenic Cocozza in my pocketbook for many years and now wondering if you would like a copy of it. I also remember Mae Vasconcellos very well because she always brought me little gifts when I was a little girl! Sooo many fond memories!!!!! Oh my Dear Lorraine! Your songs were as endless as you smiles. I thought of you the other night and found myself getting out of bed to write these words: Sing on oh spirit. Sing on and fill the empty chasm that steals life from us and stores its content away from all others to see. Break free from the bonds of silence the joy that can only be exposed by your glorious refrains. Your passion calms the exhausted heart and brings reprieve. Come forth and humble us with the exuberance that consoles a weary soul yearning to sing once again. Expose my heart for I am still here. I am still of breath and it is in you, sweet melody, that my love continues to have life's voice. Remember me. Remember my smile, my laughter, my love for you and my memories that life has stolen from me. Most importantly remember my song. For I continue to live on in music. Oh music. Sweet Lorraine. You first showed me the ropes at Life Care & shared so many stories of your father’s harmonica playing in Boston & being a mom. You were always quick with a laugh, a joke & a smile, and sang your way into the sunset. I’ll never forget your poetry, your playful spirit, your family, fashion sense, nor your smile. I’ll think of you always whenever I sing, ‘Hey Good Lookin’ or ‘Let Me Call You Sweetheart’ ... or really any song at all You are a star and now you shine brighter than ever before.
