Obituary of Antonio Ferreira Pascoal

Antonio Ferreira Pascoal, 65, of Peabody, passed away Thursday afternoon at his residence, following a lengthy illness, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Maria (Quaresma) Pascoal. ​Antonio was born on September 11, 1954, in Seia, Portugal, son of the late Antonio and Maria Prazeres (Abreu) Pascoal. He was raised and educated there prior to emigrating to the United States. ​He was a self-employed mason and took a lot of pride in what he did. He was a member of the Clube de Luis Camoes, The Azorean Brotherhood of the Divine Holy Ghost, and Our Lady of Fatima Church, all in Peabody. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling, took immense pride in working on his house, but most importantly spending time with his family, especially his grandson, Antonio Pascoal, Jr. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. ​Antonio’s family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at MGH- North Shore Cancer Center in Danvers, for the exceptional care they gave him throughout his illness. ​Besides his loving wife, Maria, he is survived by his son, Antonio Pascoal; his grandson; Antonio Pascoal, Jr.; a sister, Maria Alice Ferreira Pascoal, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter, Paula Ferreira Pascoal. There will be a Drive-up Visitation held on Tuesday, April 28 from 10A.M – 12P.M. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Everyone is asked to enter the parking lot of the funeral home via the entrance on LYNN ST, and then a staff member will direct you accordingly. We ask everyone to REMAIN IN YOUR VEHICLES, in accordance with the social distancing rules described by federal, state, and local officials. Burial will be private.
