Obituary of Anna May (French) Dunleavy

Peabody- Anna May (French) Dunleavy, Age 96, passed away at the Brentwood Rehab & Nursing Center in Danvers, MA on April 23, 2020. She was the wife of the late John P Dunleavy Sr. with whom she shared 54 years of marriage. Born in Peabody to the late Lillian E. French, she was raised by her late aunt and uncle Annie and Ben Gregory. Anna grew up in Peabody and attended Peabody Schools, graduating from PVMHS in 1941. After graduation she went on to work for New England Telephone until she married. She also worked for General Electric and J.J Newbury’s. Anna is survived by her son John P Dunleavy Jr. and his wife Carol of Peabody, and by her grandson Michael and his fiancé Lauren Taylor of Peabody. Due to the restrictions on gatherings a private graveside service was held with the immediate family at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Salem.
