Obituary of Anthony D. Serino

Peabody – Anthony D. Serino 90, formerly of East Boston, beloved husband of Marie (Olivieri) Serino, died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 26, 2020 at home. Born and raised in Boston, he was the son of the late John and Lucrenzia (Pagliuca) Serino. He was raised and educated in East Boston and graduated from East Boston High School. An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country during the Korean Conflict as a member of the United States Army. Mr. Serino had been employed for thirty-seven years by Delta Airlines in it’s fleet services department, until the time of his retirement in 1989. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his wife with whom he shared sixty-five years of marriage, he is survived by two daughters, Maryellen Mosca and her husband, Nicholas of East Boston and Maria Nee and her husband, Scott of Melrose, six sons, Anthony Serino and his wife, Trudye of Windham, NH, John Serino and his wife, Donna of Beverly, Thomas Serino and his wife, Deborah of Wilmington, Michael Serino and his wife, Rosalyn of North Carolina, Joseph Serino of Salem and Robert Serino and his companion, Karen Henderson of Billerica, twenty seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by seven siblings. His funeral services will be private. Arrangements by the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Contributions may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
