I am so very sorry to hear about Helen, and am sending prayers for comfort and strength for you all. I would have liked very much to have known Helen. I know that she was a friend to my husband, Robert Zalis, Jr., and his brother Roy and sister Sharon, in their earlier lives. Please take care, and if I can be of help in any way, please let me know.
Sincerely,
Lynne Zalis

I was so sorry to hear of Helen's passing. Back in the '90s I took a framing class at Decordova Museum with Helen. I have never forgotten her. I'm working out of my basement these days and have just one picture in my office. It's a picture of a beach on the Cape, with very unusual matting. For 2 months now I've looked at that picture each day, and always think of Helen. We students were supposed to do all the work of matting and framing in the class, but this one was so difficult that she ended up doing most of the work. I could not have done it without her help. I think she felt sorry for me because I was pretty bad at the detail work, and also was named Paul like her husband. I never met him but heard a lot about him. I'm so so sorry for your loss. She was a treasure.

Where do you begin when talking about our Helen. Well... she new me from a child through our close parents who we considered family. She also became a teacher to me in my art class, my artist when decorating my house with beautiful art and of course a friend to my husband and I, when we got together to laugh enjoy each others company. She had the warmest heart and gave the best hugs you could ever ask for.
Helen, we will miss your beautiful smile and your contagious spirit that drew us all into you.
May your rest in piece my dear friend and reunite with your one and only Paul

My Thea Helen personifies light, love, empathy, beauty, and kindness. I write in the present tense because she is here. Thea Helen is with me and she will always be with me, in my heart, mind, and soul.
Thea Helen is my friend, cousin, sister... she wears so many hats so well. In time of self doubt, Thea Helen reassures me. In times of sadness, she uplifts me and offers me joy. How blessed and grateful I feel to have this amazing woman in my life.
We have such a special relationship. I worshipped my Thea when I was a child because she was fun and SO creative. Our love of art and aesthetics truly created a wonderful bond. Thea Helen is a Thea not only to myself, but even to my friends. She freely offers boundless love and kindness to all she encounters. I treasure so many memories with her, from being in Florida together to my brother’s wedding. Thea and I loved keep up with each other on social media: trading recipes, fashion, etc... Each comment and message left an imprint on my heart.
Her memory is eternal and she continues to live on through all of us.

Although she lived on the other side of the country we often chatted on Facebook. She always supported my fashion blog and reposted all of my youtube videos. I loved our direct messages back and forth about family and love. She always told me how special she felt when I called her Thea. I will miss her ❤ -Pamela

My deepest sympathy to Mary and James Limberakis in the passing of your daughter and to the family of Evelyn and George Rockas, sister and brother in law, as well as Helen’s beloved niece Mary and nephew James. I knew Helen for many years, as well as her husband Paul, who both dedicated their lives to their family and whoever came in touch with them with unconditional love. They were especially faithful in their service to our Church, for which we are all eternally grateful. May Helen’s memory be eternal.
