Obituary of Florence E. Sawchuk

It is with great sadness that the family of Florence E. Sawchuk announce her passing from complications of the COVID-19 virus on May 15th, 2020. Florence was born and raised in Prince Edward Island, Canada. She came to the United States when she was 19 years old and became a US citizen shortly thereafter. Beloved wife of the late Frank Sawchuk Jr. Loving mother to Greg Sawchuk and his wife Cheryl, Peter Sawchuk and his wife Vanessa, Lisa Patnaude and her husband Doug. Cherished grandmother to Nicholas and Christopher Sawchuk. Florence is Survived by sisters, Marie Macintyre, Gladys Thompson and several nieces and nephews. Florence lived a full and exemplary life, inspiring those around her with her dedication to family, church, and community. She leaves a legacy of generosity and kindness to others and will be missed by many. Due to the COVID-19 virus, services will be private.
