Obituary of Jean M. Zaremba

Peabody - Jean Marie (Ferriani) Zaremba, 86, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020 after complications from the coronavirus. She was surrounded in spirit by her loved ones who will continue to love and honor her memory and family legacy. Jean was born in Boston, married her late husband, Walter J. Zaremba, and raised her family in Burlington. She is survived by her three children and their families: daughter, Layne Zaremba Francis and husband, Thomas Francis of Peabody; son, David Zaremba and wife, Kathy Zaremba of Peabody; son, Peter Zaremba and wife, Susan Zaremba of Hiram, ME; late son, Walter Zaremba and daughter-in-law, Christine Toto Zaremba of Scituate; and her seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Col. Robert Ferriani, Ret. of Indianapolis, IN; her sisters, Maryann DeMille of Danvers and Joan LePage of Peabody; each of their spouses; and her many nieces and nephews. Jean’s family asks you to keep her in your thoughts and prayers. We will keep warm memories close to our hearts and honor her by keeping alive the things she loved the most. Jean was always happiest on the beach, and we know she found her spot in the sun to watch over her family. A private service will be held at a later date.
