Obituary of Eloise (Hopkins) Dearborn
Eloise (Hopkins) Dearborn, 96, of Peabody, died Monday September 5, 2006 at Salem Hospital following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Henry Dearborn.
Born in East Boston, she was the daughter of the late John and Eloise (Crozier) Hopkins. She was raised and educated in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School, class of 1928. After high school, she attended Lynn Hospital School of Nursing and became a Registered Nurse in 1932.
He career began as a private nurse at the former Lynn Hospital and later worked at Wolfeboro Hospital in New Hampshire. She also was a former member of the Lynn Hospital Nurse Association.
She also was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church in Lynn and Central Church in Peabody.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and step-children. She was the sister of the late Richard, Robert and William Hopkins, Leona Moore, Phyllis Rose, Dorothy Ramey and Alice Van De Mark.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 PM at the family lot in Pine Grove cemetery, Boston St., Lynn Ma. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Ret Registered Nurse.
