Dear Family, This morning I went to mail Barbara and Bobby a Halloween card and in the past I always seem to put Avenue instead of Street and Barbara Jean always reprimanded me for this. So I went on Google to look up the address to be sure I put the right one down. Her beautiful face holding the cell phone was staring at me . It was her obituary. My body went numb I started shaking and in tears roll down my face it was just too unbelievable to see I was in shock. I knew nothing of her passing on July 10 this year. On her birthday I brought her a cake and some sanitizer and gloves and pretty masks. She actually cried and thanked me. She said she hasn’t left the house since the Covid began and she was really looking forward to a sweet. Well I don’t know what to say except I’m extremely sorry for this loss of ours, she was my best friend I’ve known her since middle school . She is the godmother of my daughter Holly she always wanted to have a little girl but she had to settle for her two sons which she is blessed to have. I love her with all my heart . I will deeply miss her I have to believe she’s in heaven singing with the Angels and one day we will all join her. Life simply will not be the same without her nearby I’m so truly hurt by this loss of my best friend. I love you all and I’m just so very sorry that I wasn’t there. had no idea and this was a terrible way for me to find out. Yesterday in fact I sent her a text Along with many text prior . it was a picture of a father playing princess with his daughter I told her it reminded me of Danny because he would do this to with his daughter and I told her I hope you’re all right and I love you all well now I know why she hasn’t been answering me when I text her. God must’ve wanted her and that has to be ok . I will think of her always especially when I’m cooking she always taught me to put the tomato in the chicken soup she said it makes the broth taste better. With all my heart and love and Sincere symphony. Val

Barbara was always so good to me. Told me to call her Mom instead of Mrs. D. She always doted on me and made me feel like family. She was truly one of a kind.
Keep your memories of her close and let them give you comfort.

You always had trouble with goodbyes when we would leave for the airport, but now it's me who's having trouble saying goodbye.
I remember walking in your garden with you. I remember us making s'mores around the fire pit while getting bit by mosquitos. I will forever cherish finally spending Halloween at your place that one year. The fact that you didn't get to hold my nephew breaks my heart. You would have loved this kid.
Rest in peace, Aunt Barbara. I'm going to miss the tight hugs you gave everyone. You were a light among a sea of darkness. Love you. Say hi to my Grandpa while you're up there.

Barbara I didn't think we would lose you so soon. It's going to be hard knowing your not with Bobby. I remember when Dad and I would have to go back home to AZ. You gave the biggest hugs. Now you're at peace with the angels. You will always be remembered as a caring daughter-in-law. God bless you and please tell Dad we miss him. Your loving Mother-in-law Mom Drozewski.
