Obituary of Eleanor M. (Campbell) Spiliotis
Eleanor M. (Campbell) Spiliotis, 88, of Peabody, died Sunday evening at her home following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Paul Spiliotis.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Catherine Campbell. She has been living in Peabody for the past 60 years.
She was Kindergarten Teacher who taught in the private sector at the Busy Bee in Lynn where she was a co-owner and operator of that school
Mrs. Spiliotis was an avid gardener and Boston Red Sox Fan, but more importantly to her was that she was a homemaker, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Paula S. and Emil Tytlar of Kent Lakes, NY, Joann and Dennis Johnson of Ipswich, and Kathy S. Ray of Danvers, three grandchildren, Emily Jill Johnson, Katie Lee Ray and Sarah Anne Johnson, a cousin, Gwen and her husband Butch Davis of Ontario, Canada, as well as
many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Peabody Facility, followed by Services in St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, Peabody to relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.
If family and friends should desire, donations can be made in her name to the Hospice of the North Shore, 10 Elm St., Danvers, Ma 01923.
