Obituary of Ruth McManus

Ruth McManus, 91, of Lynn, passed away July 21, at the Life Care Center of the North Shore, following a brief illness. Ruth was born in Lynn, Ma, on July 27, 1928, daughter of the late Jerome and Helen (Amirault) McManus. She was raised and educated in Lynn. She had worked as a store clerk for Shaw’s Supermarket for many years. She was also a former member of St. Mary’s Church in Lynn. She is survived by her brother, John McManus of Peabody, and Robert McManus; and a close cousin, Ann Furey. She was the sister of the late Doris Walsh. A memorial service for Ruth will be held on Friday, July 31, at 11:30A.M. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, MA. All attendees are required to wear mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
