Obituary of Kristine M DiFranza

Kristine Marie (Baginsky) DiFranza, 56, of Peabody died peacefully on August 5, 2020 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer with her family by her side. She was the devoted wife of Carl DiFranza with whom she shared 30 years of marriage. She was born on October 11, 1963, the daughter of John and Joanne (Curran) Baginsky of Saugus and was raised there graduating from Saugus High School in 1981. She later attended Mt Ida College and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Suffolk University. Kristine had been employed in flight operations at Logan Airport for 35 years, first with Continental Air lines and later with United Airlines right up to a month ago. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family taking cross country and international trips. She loved animals, especially her dogs and cats, and loved helping and being around children but her most enjoyment was being with her family as they grew to maturity. She is survived by her husband Carl, a son, Michael J. DiFranza and a daughter, Julia R. DiFranza all of Peabody, her parents of Saugus, a sister and brother in law, Karalynn and Harry Melandri, her aunts Kathleen Curran and Deb Douglass all of Andover, and was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Kathleen Collins. A Visitation will be held on Monday, August 10, 2020 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. All attendees are required to wear Masks and comply with social distant guidelines.
