Obituary of Patrick F. Burke

Patrick Francis Burke, 55, of Salem Ma, and formerly of Orlando Florida, died Tuesday at the Salem Hospital after a five year battle with Cancer. He was born in Hartford, Ct., on September 30, 1950 the son of the late Joseph and Anne (Condon) Burke and was a graduate of University of Connecticut before moving to Orlando, Florida. He received his master’s degree at the University of Central Florida. He was a manager in the retail tire stores in the Central Florida area for over twenty years working mostly at the Pep Boys Auto Store in Kissimmee prior to his illness. He enjoyed sailing and playing his guitar. He was also an avid reader and lover of the crosswords puzzles. He is survived by his wife, Karen (Iacoviello) Burke of Salem, a step-son and his wife, William C. and Alexandra Pappas of Orlando, Fl., 2 brothers, Frederick and David Winston of Ct., 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Joanne Burke Millette and her husband Richard Millette and their children, Stephanie and Christopher Millette all of Hampton, NH and Elizabeth Winston Kallenbach of Plainville, Ct., 4 grandchildren Arianna, Julien, Johnathan and Jaydon, his aunts Frances Condon Winston and her late husband Frederick who helped raise Patrick and Elizabeth Condon Halloran both of Ct and many other nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody Facility. A Funeral Service will be held there on Friday at 11:00 AM Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the No Shore Cancer Center, 17 Centennial Drive, Peabody in his memory.
