Obituary of Troy M Cann

Troy M. Cann, 53, of Peabody, died peacefully on Monday, August 24, 2020 at his residence with his family by his side. He was the devoted husband of Therese (Urena) Cann with whom he shared 21 years of marriage. Troy was born in Salem, MA on January 23, 1967, the son of the late Marvin and Ann M. (Hynes)Cann Jr. and had resided in Peabody most of his life. He was a graduate of Peabody Veterans Memorial High school. He had been an electrician in the North Shore area for over 25 years prior to his illness. Troy was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish in local ponds and lakes and also enjoyed going hunting in season in Massachusetts and Maine. He had been a disc jockey working with Royal Caribbean Cruise Line for many years. He is survived by his wife, Therese and his son Trey M. Cann both of Peabody, a sister, Linda Quinn of Phoenix, AZ, his aunts and uncles, Bernard J. Hynes and his wife Nancy and Tracey and her husband Thomas Casey all of Florida, Neil and Dorothy Hynes of Lawrence, Gary Hynes and Eileen Hynes both of Peabody, his father-in-law Domingo Espinal and his brother-in-law Eugene and his wife Patricia Espinal all of Somerville and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2020 from 3:00 until 5:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility with a service there at 5:00 PM. All attendees are required to wear masks and to adhere to social distance guidelines. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of your choice in his memory.
