Obituary of Keith D. Schroeder

Keith D Schroeder, 38, of Derry, NH and formerly of Salem, passed away on Saturday August 22, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Kerri (Olson) Schroeder with whom he shared over 18 years of marriage. Born in Salem, he was the son of Darlene (Hidler) Schroeder of Salem and the late Glenn E Schroeder. He was the grandson of Phyllis Schroeder of West Baldwin, ME, and the late Bernard Schroeder. He was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School, class of 2000. He has lived in Derry for the past 13 years. Keith was employed as a retail manager for Petco for the past 10 years, most recently at the Concord, NH location. While living in Derry, he enjoyed coaching Little League softball. He enjoyed hunting, archery and loved animals. He was captain of the high school football and wrestling teams for Salem High School and helped lead his team to wining the Superbowl in his senior year. His favorite endeavor though was spending time with his girls and family. Besides his loving wife Kerri, Keith is survived by his two daughters, Kayleigh Ann and Kelsie Lyn Schroeder, both of Derry, NH, his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Eric and Colleen Schroeder of Porter, ME and Adam and Stacey Schroeder of Salem, his sister Denise and her wife Sonni DiCesare of Lynn and Megan Schroeder and her husband Gabriel Ferreras of Salem, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, David and Irene Olson of Peabody, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, William and Sarah Olson of Peabody and by his 14 nieces and nephews, Eric, Sara, Hannah, Kelly, Breanna, Victoria, Paul, Alexa, Faith, Payton, Gage, Alexandra, Axel, and Journey. Following cremation, visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. All attendees are required to wear facial coverings and maintain social distancing as well. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to start a college fund for his daughters Kayleigh and Kelsie Schroeder by mailing a check made out to them to 4 Parlee St, Salem, MA 01970.
