Obituary of Joseph P Dullea

Joseph P. Dullea, 55, of Wilmington formerly of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Friday. He was the husband of Lynn (Mahoney) Dullea. Born in Salem, he was the son of Helen T (Doherty) Dullea of Peabody and the late Paul V. Dullea. He was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Bishop Fenwick High School, class of 1982. Joseph was a sales manager and worked for various companies in the retail industry. While living in Wilmington, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and he also enjoyed playing cards, cribbage, and golf. He is survived by his mother and her husband, Helen Dullea and William Magner of Peabody, his children, Patrick and Elizabeth Dullea of Wilmington, his brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Catherine Dullea of Byfield, his sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Michael Dewar of Norfolk and Patricia and Enrique Jurado of Chino, CA, and sister-in-law Robin Dullea of Florida. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Maureen Berkowitz and his brother, John W. Dullea. Following cremation, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday September 4, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Church, Chestnut St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
