Obituary of Christine (Rossicone) (Pirrello) Autilio

Christine (Rossicone) (Pirrello) Autilio, 98, of Peabody and formerly of Exeter, New Hampshire, died early Thursday morning at the Rosewood Nursing Home in Peabody following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Raymond Autilio and Carmello Pirrello. Born in Revere, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Filomenia (Pezzole) Rossicone. She was raised and educated in Medford and later lived in Peabody and Exeter, New Hampshire. She was a seamstress who worked for over 20 years with the Vogue Doll Company in Malden. She enjoyed knitting and doing arts and crafts and often volunteered her services at the Peter A. Torigian Community Life Center in Peabody, the Exeter, New Hampshire Senior Center and for the Holly Fair in Stratham, NH. She also was a member of the Stratham, NH Ladies Auxiliary Fire Dept. She also donated her knitting to the Navy Relief for unborn babies. She is survived by two sons, Carmello and his wife Maureen Pirrello, Jr, of West Hartford, CT., and David Pirrello of Peabody, and a daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Benny Ficociello of Saugus. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the mother of the late Walter Pirrello, and sister of the late Walter Rossicone, Carolyn Lanzillo, and Evelyn Dellarusso. Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the West Congregational Church, Johnson St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody Facility. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Peter A. Torigian Community Life Center, 79 Central St., Peabody, MA 01960.
