Obituary of Kathleen A. Elliott

Kathleen Elliott (Kogut) 59, died peacefully late Wednesday afternoon September 2, 2020 of an unexpected brain aneurysm at Burlington Lahey Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Kathleen went home to be with her beloved mother, the late Majorie A (O’Connor) (Kogut) Mcvann. Kathleen was born in Peabody, MA on August 22, 1961, the daughter of the late Stanley and Majorie (O’connor) (Kogut) Mcvann and was raised and educated in Peabody before moving to Brockton, Revere, and later back to Peabody to be by her mother's side. She developed a special relationship with her mother and considered her to be her best friend. In Kathleen’s earlier years as a wife and mother of three young children. She felt joy working at a health club to help people better their lives, As Kathleen’s children grew older she found her place in the world as a Life Enrichment Manager working with Alzheimer’s patients. Kathleen spent a few years working there and decided to make a change to better her and her children’s lives, so she took a job working for TSA at Logan Airport. It was a very proud moment in Kathleen’s life knowing she had a part in protecting our Country during the uncertain times of 9/11. Later on, Kathleen was called back to her true purpose in life, enriching the lives of those who can’t remember, and fulfilling her true mission to help those who can’t help themselves to live a beautiful and meaningful life as well. Kathleen was a beautiful soul that lived a selfless life. She was beautiful inside and out and spent all of her days making this world a better place. She touched everyone’s soul that she crossed paths with. Kathleen enjoyed the simple things in life, like listening to the birds chirping in the morning, a beautiful song, a great conversation, a funny joke, Almond Joy ice cream, taking walks with her fur-babies, a cup of tea, the breeze from the Ocean, barefoot in the garden, the list goes on and on. She taught us to be spiritual, to be receptive to love, to find the good in people, and how powerful love can be. Kathleen loved music and felt it in her soul. She loved going to Salem Willows with her family and friends, and enjoyed eating Chinese food, then relaxing on the beach. Kathleen loved her cat Willow and making videos of her listening to music. Kathleen also enjoyed taking walks with her grand fur-babies Athena and Blue. Kathleen is survived by her two daughters, Nickole Elliott of Nashua, NH her husband Chris Carlson of Nashua, NH, Tarra Sewell of Malden and her husband Mark Sewell of Malden, and her son Jesse Elliott of Peabody, and her sister Brenda Kogut of PA; two grandchildren, Lily Carlson and Summer Carlson of Nashua, Nh.
