Obituary of Normand Donald Dube

Normand D. Dube, 89. Of Peabody passed away Thursday afternoon. September 17, 2020 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House. The son of the late William G. and Irma (Tremblay) Dube, he was the loving husband of Mary (Walker) Perkins-Dube with whom he shared 28 years of marriage. Former residents of Salem, Norm and Mary lived in Peabody for nearly twenty years. After graduating from Salem High School, Norm served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, most recently on his Can Am trike, along with target shooting and he especially loved square dancing with Mary. Normand worked as a draftsman for many years and later as a security guard. In addition to Mary he is survived by his sons; Donald and Richard Dube, Steve and Allan Perkins, his daughter Nancy Perkins-Gallo and a brother Robert Dube, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was predeceased his daughter Carol Guillan and a brother Roland. A graveside service, with military honors, will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020 in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park 185 Lake Street, Peabody, MA., at 11:00 AM. Family is encouraged to attend and meet at the main entrance by 10:45 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice. All attendees are required to wear a facial covering and maintain social distancing as well.
