Obituary of Maria Pappas

Maria (Zolotas) Pappas, 83, of Beverly, passed away on September 5, 2020 at Care One at Essex Park in Beverly. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Theodora (Kyminas) Zolotas. Maria is survived by her son George Pappas of Somerville, her nephew Stanley Lignos and his wife Judy of Peabody and by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Charles, George, John, Steve and Nick Zolotas, and her sister, Kaliope and her husband Gus Lignos, and her nephew Michael Lignos. Funeral and burial services were held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to St. Vasilios Church, 5 Paleologos St, Peabody, MA 01960.
