Obituary of Susan Key

Susan Key, 66, of Shirley, NY, formerly of Peabody, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 10, at the Stoneybrook University Hospital in New York. She was the beloved wife of Robert W. Key, with whom she shared 34 years of marriage. Born in Boston, MA, on January 2, 1954, daughter of George H. and Mary A. (Dragonas) Jones. Susan had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Healthcare industry. Susan was a very devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, always finding time to be surrounded by her family and cherishing all those moments together. She will always be remembered as a selfless woman, always putting the needs of others before herself. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her children, William R. O’Neill, Jr. of Shirley, NY, Kerri A. O’Neill of Staten Island, NY, Karen M. (O’Neill) Foissett and her husband Barry of Punta Gorda, FL; a step-daughter, Jennifer Siemienski and her husband George of Virginia Beach, VA; her grandchildren, Barry Foissett III, Melody Foissett, George Siemienski, Jr.; her siblings, George H. Jones, Jr. of Danvers, Kelly Barnes of Peabody, Stormy Jones of North Reading, Hope Jones of Peabody, Jody Critcher of Danvers, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Hall. A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 20, from 4P.M. to 7 P.M.. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St.., Peabody. Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, October 21 at 11 A.M. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. All Attendees are required to wear masks and practice social distancing.
