Winifred C. (Kennedy) Termini
PEABODYWinifred C. (Kennedy) Termini, beloved wife of the late Louis C. Termini, died Sunday at the Jewish Rehabilitation Center in Swampscott following a lengthy illness.
Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Leo J. and Marguerite (Hanlon) Kennedy. She lived most of her youth in East Lynn, and attended Lynn schools. She lived in Peabody for many years, and lived in Salem for the last several years.
She first was employed at General Electric in Lynn, where she met her husband. Besides nurturing her family, she later worked as an Assembler with GTE Sylvania for many years before retiring in 1980.
Mrs. Termini enjoyed bingo, traveling with her husband before his death, and enjoyed simplicity gathering with her family and friends.
She is survived by: a daughter and son-in-law, Denise & Anthony Pelletier of Salem; one grandson, John Crooker of Kansas City, MO; three great-grandchildren, Rachel Cunningham, Melissa Crooker, and Scott Crooker, all of FL; one brother, Leo Kennedy of Lynn; one sister, Pat Farrand of Amesbury, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death, besides her husband and parents, by brothers Eugene, Donald, and Daniel Kennedy, and sisters Eileen, Mary Milward, and Delores Henry.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 10 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. location, Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in St. John’s Church, Peabody, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5 to 8 P.M.
Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
