Obituary of Liane I. Steeves

Peabody – Liane I. Steeves 56, died Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the North Shore Medical Center – Salem Hospital following a long illness. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Herman A. and Irene S. (Aubrey) Steeves. She received her education and graduated from the Cardinal Cushing School in Hanover, class of 1986. A lifelong resident of Peabody, Liane enjoyed spending her days at Bass River in Beverly and Salem with all her close friends. She had a love for animals, horseback riding and her housemates and staff at her home. She was adored by all who knew her. Surviving her are six sisters, Pat Dwyer of Vermont, Celia Kendig of Florida, Donna Baker of Florida, Kathy Mahalares of Peabody, Pam Parente of Peabody and Paula Bergeson of Andover, four brothers, Rich Steeves of Lynn, Brian Steeves of South Hamilton, Bill Steeves of Florida and Mark Steeves of Peabody and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was also the sister of the late Bob Steeves. Her funeral service will be held graveside, at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody, Friday, November 13, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service on Friday at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn Street, Peabody from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. All attendees are required to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
