Obituary of Sean J McDonald

Sean J. McDonald, 54, of Peabody, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon after a tragic accident at work. He was the loving father of Nicole and Michael McDonald. Sean grew up in Salem and graduated from Salem High School in 1984. He obtained his journeyman electrician’s license and then went to work for the Local 103 Electrician’s Union for over 20 years. Sean was an outstanding father who loved spending time with his children more than anything, they were his world. He coached his son’s flag football teams, loved going on family vacations and just spending quality time out back playing games with his kids. He loved the New England Patriots and going to the games with his friends. He was a loyal friend and an extremely hard worker. In addition to his children he is survived by his sister, Sharlene Palmachuk, his best friend Laurie McDonald, his mother and stepfather, Carol and Charles McGlone, his niece and nephew, Jamie and Jack Palmachuk, his step mother Marie McDonald, stepsister, Jennifer Faragi, his stepbrothers, John and William Erb, his aunt and uncle Robert and Jane-Ellen McDonald and is also survived by many cousins and close friends. He was predeceased by his father, James L. McDonald. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody followed by his Funeral Mass on Saturday at 10:30 AM at St. Adelaide’s Church, Lowell St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. All attendees are required to wear facial coverings and maintain social distancing as well. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St, Peabody.
