Obituary of Michael L. Romano

Michael L. Romano PEABODY—Michael L. Romano, 26, beloved son of George & Linda (Jedrey) Romano of Peabody, died unexpectedly last Friday at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center North in Peabody. Born in Salem, he lived in Peabody for most of his life, where he attended schools. He graduated from Peabody High School where he played Basketball and some Baseball. Besides his athletic talent, Mr. Romano had a gift of creativity, and enjoyed his artistic endeavors with charcoal sketches. He enjoyed all sports, mostly basketball and baseball, boxing, movies, and attended North Shore Community College. He is survived by: his parents, George & Linda (Jedrey) Romano of Peabody; a brother, Joseph Romano of Peabody; his grandfather, George Romano, Sr. of Peabody; his aunts & uncles, Maryann Nickerson of Oregon, Catherine & Charles Wilson of Wilmington, and Gerald & Druann Jedrey of Beverly; his special girlfriend, Kerri Drake of GA, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his Jedrey grandparents and paternal grandmother, Geraldine Romano. A Private Family Funeral Mass was held with burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
