Obituary of Barbara J. Nunes

Danvers – Barbara J. (Flynn) Nunes 73, formerly of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Monday, November 16, 2020 at her home. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late James J. and Catherine (Finn) Flynn. She received her education in the Peabody school system, graduated from Peabody High School, class of 1964 and continued her education at Burdett College in Boston. Ms. Nunes had been employed for many years in the sales and marketing department at Brooksby Village Senior Living in Peabody. A longtime resident of Danvers, she was an active parishioner at St. Richard’s Parish in Danvers. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, John E. and his wife, Kristen of Saugus, a daughter, Cheryl Nunes of Danvers, two grandchildren, Camden and Kayla and a brother, James Flynn and his wife, Sharon of Danvers. She was also the niece of the late Edward Flynn. Her funeral services will be private. Arrangements by the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody.
