I am so sad to just be reading this! I was friends of Steve and Nora and was their hairdresser for 37 years..... so so many memories, between Celtics games at the old Boston garden and just loving to laugh with Nora etc. etc. where to even begin. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family during this time of grief

I'm so sad to see this news, Nora. My sincere condolences for your loss. Steve was my first mentor when I started practicing juvenile law at Salem District Court in the early 90's. Back then CAFL didn't have formal mentors, just experienced and committed lawyers like Steve willing to take the time to show a newbie like me how to do the job well. Although it's been years since I've seen either of you, I remember you both as dedicated child advocates with a passion for the work you do. Wishing you peace and solace in the difficult days ahead.

I am so saddened to learn of Steve's death. I have practiced law for 40 years also, and always liked Steve, very much, both as a good lawyer and as a very good guy. So sorry for your loss.

Steve was a significant contributor to the legal profession and, especially, to the less-fortunate members of society who the profession served.
Steve was a long-time leader of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation and he dedicated countless hours and dollars to working to ensure that everyone in society had equal access to justice.
I am sure his passing is a profound loss for his family as it is for his colleagues on the Bench and at the Bar.
We will miss him.

Attorney Wollman worked with me on the Board of the Juvenile Bar Association. He was a fine attorney who appeared before me often. He will be missed. My condolences to Nora, a wonderful Sicial Worker.

Nora, I am so sorry about Steven. I am here if you need anything.
I knew Steve since we were 12 years old. We shared our lives through junior high, high school, college and until we made it to the senior years. We were friends through thick and thin. So many adventures together. The laughs will be how I chose to remember you. I will miss you more than anyone will ever know. My heart is missing a piece right now.

The Wollman family and my family (Langer) were neighbors for many years on Nancy Avenue. Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of an old friend. We had many fun days and nights in our neighborhood. May his beautiful soul rest in eternal peace.
