So very sorry to hear the news of Stephen's passing. He was always kind, warm, and a true gentleman. We worked together for several years at Stefy's Subs on Lincoln Avenue when I was a teenager. I can still chop steak like a pro!! As we grew older and had families of our own, we found ourselves living down the block from each other in Salem and would chat regularly. He always had a smile, a handshake, and a kind word to offer! We moved out of state several years ago and hadn't been aware of his illness, but it does not surprise me to hear that even then, he was full of grace.
