Obituary of Colin P. O'Keefe

Hamilton – Colin P. O’Keefe 55, formerly of Peabody, beloved husband of Diane M. (MacGregor) O’Keefe, died unexpectedly at home on Sunday, December 20, 2020. Born and raised in Salem, he was the son of the late William P. and Patricia A. (Fuller) O’Keefe. He received his education in the Salem school system and graduated from Salem High School. Colin had been employed for many years as a caregiver and house manager at the Northeast Arc in Peabody which he was dedicated and took great pride in making an impact in the lives of those he served. It was by far his most favorite job. He was a longtime resident of Peabody prior to moving to Hamilton six years ago. Colin was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his wife with whom he shared twenty one years together, he is survived by two daughters, Jenn Call and her companion, Scott Pelletier of NH and Kim Vaccaro and her husband, Bill of Peabody, a son, Neil Call of MA, ten grandchildren, Caitlyn, Amanda, Hannah, Tommy, Cady, Sam, Neil, Olivia, Zach and Peter, a great grandson, Leo, three brothers, Mark O’Keefe and his wife, Regina of New Mexico, Glenn O’Keefe and his wife, Nancy of NH and Bruce O’Keefe of NH and several nieces and nephews. ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Adelaide’s Church, 708 Lowell St., Peabody, Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and are required to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines. Interment will be private. Arrangements by the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Contributions may be made in his memory to the Northeast ARC, 6 Southside Rd, Danvers, MA 01923.
