Obituary of Nancy E Craigen

Peabody- Nancy Elaine Craigen, 76, died on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 due to Alzheimer’s and complications from Covid-19. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Jermyn) Craigen. She attended Peabody schools and was a graduate of Peabody High school, class of 1964. Nancy had been employed as a mold operator, having worked for many years throughout the North Shore. She enjoyed word search puzzles, cooking Sunday dinner, and spending time at her favorite place, the 99 “Club” Restaurant. Nancy was known for her kind and generous nature. She was a true caregiver and was willing to help anyone in need. Nancy is survived by her twin brother, Robert J. and his wife Janice Blomerth-Craigen of Malden, her sister, Maureen and her husband Al L’Italien of Peabody, three nephews, Brian and his wife Lindsey L’Italien of Danvers, Scott and his wife Sandra L’Italien of Beverly, and David L’Italien of Peabody, and her great nieces and nephews, Bryce, Liliana, Genevieve and Isaac L’Italien. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Joseph Craigen. Arrangements: Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. Peabody. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. All attendees are required to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines. A burial and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
