Obituary of Pauline Z Troubetaris

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Pauline Zaferiou Troubetaris, on December 22, 2020. Pauline fought a lifelong battle with Bronchiectasis and left us in her 84th year while sleeping peacefully in her own bed. Pauline will be remembered as the most loving, kindest, patient, and simply, “the best person anyone could wish for in their lives”. Pauline was born on January 16, 1936 in Peabody, Massachusetts, graduated from Peabody High School in 1953, and worked in the banking industry all of her career. Devoted daughter to Theodore and Anna Zaferiou. Dear sister of the late John Connelly, and late Margaret Seaman, Jean Wiggin, Catherine Stanchfield, and Athena Corbett. Pauline Troubetaris beloved wife of the late George J. Troubetaris. Much loved and cherished mother of James A. Henderson of Peabody, and Athena Cashman of Fort Collins, Colorado. Treasured grandmother of Christine Harding, James R. Henderson, and Catherine Neves of Peabody, Stefanie Henderson of Salem, Tiffany M. Cook and Joseph P.A. Cashman of Fort Collins, Colorado. Adored great-grandmother of Anthony, Faith, Michael, Cailey, Nicholas, Gwenyth, Caiden, Christiaan, Tahlia, and Andrea. Pauline was a lifelong member of the St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church in Peabody, serving as a Sunday school teacher for many years. Pauline volunteered and supported a number of charities, and non-profit organizations across the Northshore, country, and world. Both Pauline and her late husband George loved to travel and spent the majority of their 37 year marriage traveling the world together. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. A Graveside Service with Interment will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peabody.
