Obituary of Kristen M Barbaro

Kristen M Barbaro, 28, of Peabody, died Thursday December 24, 2020 at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital following complications from the Covid-19 virus. Born in Malden, she was the daughter of Paul and Randa (Gray) Barbaro. She was raised and educated in Peabody and received her certificate of attainment from Peabody Veteran’s Memorial High School, class of 2011. She then attended LABBB Collaborative in Lexington for five years in the post graduate program and graduated when she was 23 years old. For the past 6 years Kristen worked with Bridgewell at the Kelly J Martin Day Center in Lynn. She split her time there between the Day Habilitation and Employment Support Services. She was always there to greet people with a friendly smile and her great sense of humor. She was loved and adored by her peers and other staff members. Besides her loving parents, Kristen is survived by her two sisters, Lisa Barbaro of Peabody and Jennifer Barbaro of Milford, NH and by countless dear friends at the Kelly J Marin Day Center in Lynn, and The Paul Center for Learning and Recreation in Chelmsford. Due to the Coronavirus a private graveside service was held at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peabody. A celebration of life ceremony will be held later next year when it is safe for everyone to attend.
