Obituary of Claire L Crescenzo

Claire L (Fortier) Crescenzo, 75, of Peabody, died peacefully on December 27, 2020 at Sunrise at Gardner Park in Peabody following a long illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Peter Crescenzo, Sr with whom she shared over 47 years of marriage. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Martha (Johnson) Fortier. She was raised and educated in East Boston and has spent the last 51 years living in Peabody. Claire first started to work for the telephone company in customer service and then worked for CVS as a pharmacy technician and cashier before she retired years ago. Claire loved playing bingo and her visits to Foxwoods Casino with her family and friends. Claire is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Peter Crescenzo Jr and Lindsay of Peabody, her sister, Elaine Capaldo of Norwood, her beloved two grandchildren, Anthony and Steven Crescenzo and by several nieces and nephews and her dear friends Louis and Delores Torelli of Peabody. She was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Chambers. Due to the Coronavirus all services will be held later this year when it is safe for everyone to attend.
