Obituary of Margaret L (Rauseo) Tripoli

Margaret L. (Rauseo) Tripoli, beloved wife of the late Salvatore Tripoli Sr. of Peabody, died on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family. Raised in East Boston, she lived there in her youth and graduated from Girls’ High School in Boston. She then went to Secretarial/Business School in Boston. Mrs. Tripoli worked at Sears in Boston, before marrying her husband. Besides nurturing her family and homemaking duties, she was among the original parishioners at St. Adelaide's Church in West Peabody since 1962. She was a devoted and faithful parishioner at St. Adelaide's and was, among other things, involved with CCD and Religious Studies, the annual Bazaar and the Couples Club. She had a green thumb and was able to keep many plants flourishing and her home green, year-round. Most importantly she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and cherished friend. Bishop Fenwick High School was another of her interests, where her children attended & she devoted her time. She ran a very successful fundraiser, the 1,000 Club and was a member of the St. Benedict Guild. Surviving her are one son, Michael Tripoli and his wife Judith of Danvers, MA; two daughters, Karen Anderson and her husband Gary of Peabody, MA, Maria Chorzewski and her husband Ronald of Concord, NH; nine grandchildren, Salvatore Tripoli, III and his wife Chrissy of West Hartford, CT; Michael Tripoli, Jr. of Danvers, MA, Jonathan Tripoli of Somerville, MA: Jackie Moore and her husband Jeffrey of Andover, MA, Kristen Chorzewski and Kyle Chorzewski of Concord, NH; Matthew, Cameron and Sarah Anderson of Peabody, MA. One great grandson, Theodore Tripoli. Her son, Salvatore Tripoli, Jr. preceded her in death. She was the youngest of ten siblings and was preceded in death by nine siblings, bringing an end to that generation. ARRANGEMENTS: A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. location, Peabody. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Adelaide's Church, Peabody. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. All attendees are required to wear facial coverings and maintain social distancing as well. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to My Brothers Table, 99 Willow Street, Lynn, MA 01901 or the St. Adelaide's Church Memorial Fund, 708 Lowell St., Peabody, MA 01960.
