Obituary of Joyce A. Campbell

Peabody – Joyce A. (Manley) Campbell 76, beloved wife of the late Daniel R. Campbell, died Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. Born in Melrose, she was the daughter of the late Leroy A. and Dorothy E. (Huckins) Manley. She was raised and educated in Gilmanton, NH and was a graduate of Lynn English High School in Lynn. She continued her education earning a certificate as a licensed practical nurse from the former Westborough Nursing School. Mrs. Campbell had been employed as a licensed practical nurse, having worked at Salem Hospital in Salem and Union Hospital in Lynn until the time of her retirement. A longtime resident of Peabody, Joyce was an active member, advocate and former steward for the Local Union at Union Hospital. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Jason K. Campbell and his wife, Jennifer of Peabody, six grandchildren, Kassandra Ogles, Brandon and Devyn Campbell, Madison, Makenzie and Jared Campbell, three great grandchildren, Carson and Olivia Campbell and Elissa Ogles, a sister, Nancy Manley of Wolfeboro, NH and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Mark Campbell and sister of the late Elizabeth M. Anderson and Robert L. Manley. ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held at the Conway Cahill Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. All attendees are required to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
