Obituary of William Michael Fontaine

William M. Fontaine, 32, of Peabody, passed away suddenly at Beverly Hospitpal on February 2, 2021. William was born in Salem, MA, on May 16, 1988, son of the late Michael R. and Carol Ann (Lander) Fontaine. He was raised and educated in Peabody, attending Thomas Caroll Elementary School, Higgins Middle School, and following his parents’ deaths, he moved up to NewField, NH, graduating from Exeter High School in 2007. William was currently working as a car detailer, a job that he worked extremely hard and took immense pride in. He loved to indulge in pizza, his favorite food, he enjoyed skateboarding, loved going on walks with his girlfriend Brianne, and listening to Reggae music, and loved sports being an avid fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Celtics. William was very family-oriented and loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his sister, AnnMarie Fontaine; and Auntie, Louise McClure and her late husband Mark; an uncle, Albert Fontaine; his cousins, Susan Young and her husband Chris, Christine Garlough and her husband Jim, James McClure and his girlfriend Alicia Balster-Gee, Dawn McClure and her boyfriend Logan Dressel, Amanda Gonzalez and her husband Willy, Julio Moyett, and Analisa Provinchain; his nieces and nephews, Travis and Autumn, Ollie and Max, Mason and Lilly, and his best friend, Arnold Gonzalez. A visitation for William will be held on Wednesday, February 10, at the Conway, Cahill- Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., in Peabody, from 4-7P.M, followed by a service in the funeral home at 7P.M. All attendees are required to wear masks and adhere to the social distancing guidelines.
