Obituary of Frank J. Wendell III

Frank J. Wendell III, 37,of Westmoreland NY, died Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at Abraham House in Utica, New York. He was born in Lynn, MA, on November 23, 1968, son of Frank J. and Linda (McGillis) Wendell II. He was raised in Peabody and attended Peabody Veterans Memorial High School. In 1995, he married Amy Gillis in North Reading, MA. The couple moved from Reading and has resided in Westmoreland, New York for the past two years. Frank was employed with the 99 Restaurant & Pub in New Hartford, New York. He is survived by his wife Amy (Gillis) Wendell of NY; his parents Frank J. and Linda Wendell II of Bradford; two sons, Tyler and Cooper Wendell; a sister and brother-in-law, Pamela and Larry Joia of Bradford; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Haley Wendell of Bradford; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Neil and Madeleine Gillis of Reading; sister-in-law, Christa Gillis of Reading and several special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., (new facility) Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. His family requested that donations be made in Frank’s memory to the Abraham House, 1203 Kemble St, Utica, NY 13501. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
