Obituary of Amy Lynne Newberg

Amy (Bishop) Newberg, 44, of Middleton, MA, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She was the beloved wife of Daniel Newberg II. Amy grew up in Peabody, the second daughter of Elaine Bishop and the late Francis Bishop, Jr. After graduating from Peabody Veterans Memorial High School in 1994, Amy attended the University of Miami, where she made life-long friendships and graduated with a degree in Finance. Amy later pursued her passion for helping others, and continued her education at Bunker Hill Community College, where she received her degree in Nursing. Amy was a loving and devoted mother to her daughter, Riley Rose. She loved to watch Riley play soccer and lacrosse, and when they were not on the field, they both enjoyed time well spent at Deveraux Beach in Marblehead. Amy was a voracious reader and an avid cook, known for producing a new book, magazine, or cooking ingredient from the trunk of her car on a moments notice. Amy will be remembered for her kind and generous nature and her infectious laugh. Besides her loving daughter, Riley Rose, and husband Daniel, she is survived by her mother, Elaine Bishop, and by Daniel's parents Daniel and Theresa Newberg of Peabody, her sister Kerri (Bishop) Porter and her husband Christopher Porter, their children Ainsley Rose and Callahan, and her brother-in-law William Newberg and his wife Courtney, and their children Cole and Tyler. Amy was a beloved niece, cousin, and friend to many. Services for Amy will be held privately.
