Obituary of Franics Henry Reardon, Jr.

Francis H. Reardon Jr. 72, beloved husband of Dianne M. Guarino, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford. Born in Malden, he was the son of the late Roselle (MacDonald) and Francis H. Reardon Sr. He was raised in North Reading and received his education from North Reading High School. An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country during the Vietnam war as a member of the United States Air Force. He also served in the army reserved, assisting during the blizzard of 1978. Frank had been employed as a project manager for numerous communication firms. During Hurricane Katrina, he had worked as a project manager for FEMA, overseeing the installation of trailers for families that were displaced. Frank was also member of the VFW post 2346 in Saugus and served as a board member for many years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son; Francis H. Reardon III, his granddaughter, Lilly Reardon; two stepsons, Joseph Guarino and his wife Bernadette, and his three children, Dylan, Rayya, and Ian Guarino, and John Guarino; three brothers, Robert and his wife Blanca, Philip and his wife Cathy, and James Reardon, his sister, Deborah Dion and her husband Paul; Francis was predeceased by his brother, William Reardon, four sisters-in-law, Patty Mascone and her husband Anthony, Mary Ann Cowig, Stacie Stephanides and her husband Bill, Azanna Wishart, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
