Obituary of Louise E. Kennison
Louise E. Kennison, affectionately known as ‘Auntie Weezy or Weezy Bug”, 86, of Peabody, passed away February 18, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Everett L. Kennison, Sr.
Louise was born in East Boston, on March 14, 1934, daughter of the late Roy F. Somers, Sr. and Amy (Fullerton) Somers. She was raised and educated in East Boston, prior to moving to Peabody.
Over the years, Louise had many jobs, but the most important job was looking after her family. She also enjoyed her dog, Toby, scratching lottery tickets, and people watching from one of her decks with her best friend Janet.
She is survived by a son, James E. Kennison, Sr. and his wife Roberta of Lynn; a daughter, Kim L. Brooks of Peabody; her grandchildren, James Kennison, Jr. and his wife Kerry of Lynnfield, Cory Kennison of Lynn, Craig Kennison and his wife Diane of Peabody, Brett Kennison and his wife Angie of Moultonboro, NH, Blake Kennison of Lynn, Amanda Brooks of Orlando, FL; a step-grandson, Justin Armstrong; step-granddaughters Brina Armstrong and Tiffany Armstrong; great-grandchildren, Sophie, Juliet, Kiley, Kelsey, Ava, Harper, Emilia, Evan and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sons, Richard, David, and Everett Jr; her siblings, Florence, Ruth, Eileen, Amy, Lillian, John, Jim, and Lorraine.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 3, from 4-7P.M. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 4, at 11A.M. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Purtian Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
