I was so sorry to read of Bob’s passing. I went to school with him. I would run into him over the years at Heartland and more recently when walking my dog near the water treatment plant. He always took the time to say hello and chat when I saw him. He was very proud to tell me about his grandchildren. I will miss seeing him on my walks. May he Rest In Peace.

TO Bob Walsh's family,
I never met Bob personally ,but, was always grateful to him for Jumping into the icy pond behind the Coolege Treatment plant.. He along with Art rescued my 12 year old Schnauzer Rocky. Rocky passed in January 2020 at the age of 14 and I hope they met again at The Rainbow Bridge.
After reading his obituary I saw a truly wholesome gentleman, who was a gift to this world!!!!
MY deepest sympathies to his family!!!!
Sincerely,
Bill Gordon

To Bob's entire family and friends--I have seen Bob for years working at the Pumping Station giving the building and grounds such TLC. The spring we had flowers and every holiday he would give a subtle reminder of what was to come. I will miss his friendly smile that he always wore. My heartfelt sympathy to you all.

Tim and the rest of the Walsh Family,
I was so sad to see that Bob had passed. For 20 years or more he cut my lawn and eventually that job went to Tim, who I called Phil for some reason. Bob always had time to talk about the Sox with me and we probably spent more time than we should have doing this as he had to get on to his next job.
Always a big smile on his face and a firm handshake was his usual greeting.

Dad,
There are no words to express how heartbroken and lost we are without you. You were our rock and were always there for everything-good and bad. You truly were The World’s Greatest Dad and World’s Greatest Grumpa! As we learn to navigate this new life without you, we promise we will stick together like you always told us to. We’ve been inseparable since Friday morning and will continue to be forever. You would always say “When your number is up, your number is up” and man, did you live true to that. As hard as this is, we know you are at peace and are where you want to be- with Mom. You kept your promise to her all of these years and what an amazing job you did doing it. Now it’s time for you to go live your new life with Mom. I promise we’re going to be ok! There is a whole community of support that has showed up for us. You have no idea how many people you impacted! We love you so much and will see you again one day. Please continue to guide us from above. Until we meet again, Dad
Love,
Kelly, Tim, Ryan, Savannah, and Paisley

Beautiful pictures. I cannot even put into words how much I am going to miss your dad. Although we didn't hang out as much as we would have liked to, we always talked. Knew Bob since I was 10. Always there for me, was at my side for days when my dad was sick and dying. I am heart broken and a piece of my heart has died as well. RIP my good friend.

Art,
I know your hurting as much as we are. He loved you like a brother. I’m going to miss all the “Grumpy Old Men” stories he told me about you 2, my personal favorite the day you guys lost the brakes in his personal vehicle by Su Chang’s. “Shoot for Martinack” was his favorite line that day! You two were 2 peas in pod. Tim and I love you so much and are thinking of you!

My heart is broken. One of my best friends growing up. Would do anything for you, and literally give you the shirt off of his back I could go for months not talking to Bob, and when I did it was just like old times. From shoveling when we were kids in storms, to Holden's Dairy Bar, to the "Pit", to our Landscaping business, all the good times. Always there if I needed him. Say hi to Sharon in Heaven my good friend. The world just lost a special man. Love ya buddy.

Dave,
You have know idea how much he treasured your friendship. He was just recently telling us stories about your landscaping days, Tigger truck and all! Man, did he love those stories! He loved when he popped in to see you while he was in NH. Made his whole trip!
Love,
Kelly (Bob’s daughter)
