Obituary of Adele M. (Dusivitch) Manos
Adele M. (Dusivitch) Manos, of Peabody, 75 years, wife of the late Charles Manos died Tuesday at the Beverly Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Manos was born August 6, 1926 in Lynn daughter of the late John and Alice (Platukinte) Dusivitch. She was raised and educated in Lynn graduating from Lynn Classical High School class of 1943. She was employed for 20 years in the housekeeping department primarily in the operating room at the former J. B. Thomas Hospital in Peabody. She enjoyed knitting and traveling.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane A. Manos of Peabody and her son, Charles P. Manos also of Peabody and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late John and Albert Dusivitch and Nathalie Ford.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, at the 20 Church St., Peabody location followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. in St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, 5 Paleologos St., Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Thursday 4 to 8 p.m. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
