I am so sorry for your loss of such a beautiful soul. Leola was adored by all the staff at Bellamy Fields, including myself. I sat at lunch with her one day and held her left hand as she ate with her right. She squeezed my hand and smiled. She continually offered me her food , it was pineapple chicken and saying how good it was. (I did not eat her food) When they delivered dessert, she pushed it towards me and placed a spoon in it. “You eat it now, it’s for you” she said. Of course I didn’t, and she would smile and shrug her shoulders. She always smiled! She always was happy and made us all so happy. She was so appreciative of everything and everyone. I will treasure my time with her forever. It was an honor to be one of her caregivers.
